KUTSO AUGUST 2026 ASSEMBLY MEETING HELD

The August Assembly Meeting of the Kütahya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KUTSO) was held under the chairmanship of Speaker of the Assembly Harun Yurdagül.

During the meeting, Assembly Member Hasan Acar presented the report of the Accounts Review Committee. KUTSO Board Treasurer Tolga Eskioğlu presented the trial balance for July, while KUTSO Board Member Melih Aslan presented the July Activity Report.

KUTSO Secretary General Hüseyin Feyyaz Ebeoğlugil provided information on the meetings and representation activities attended on behalf of the Chamber. Under the agenda item “A Voice from Within”, Assembly Member Mahmut Öztaş delivered a presentation entitled “We Have Words to Say and Projects to Deliver”, during which he announced his candidacy for the upcoming KUTSO elections.

Under the “Wishes and Remarks” agenda item, KUTSO Chairman of the Board of Directors Esin Güral Argat addressed a range of topics, including the integration of domestic industry sectors; the green and digital transformation; the 31st United Nations COP Climate Summit, to be held in Antalya this November; the SME Working Group, which KUTSO will co-chair at the summit; the direct impact of sustainability on access to finance; the establishment of a Sustainability Working Group within KUTSO; the training programmes, technical visits and workshops to be organised within this framework; the preparation process for a sustainability report to be produced by KUTSO in order to provide a theoretical foundation for all these initiatives; and the upcoming KUTSO elections.

Following votes on the agenda items and the adoption of the relevant resolutions, the KUTSO August Assembly Meeting was brought to a close by Speaker of the Assembly Harun Yurdagül, who conveyed his best wishes.
